Adex 2010 Report

The 5th edition of the European Adex report upholds this study as the definitive guide to the European online advertising industry. Adex 2010 covers 25 countries, from the mature markets of Western and Northern Europe to the emerging markets in Eastern and Southern Europe.  This latest edition covers the findings of its annual advertising expenditure survey for the year ending December 2010.

After a modest report in 2009, European adspend has bounced back in 2010. In particular digital display, which has shown an average growth rate of 21.3%, overtaking search as the fastest growing online ad format in Europe. Search, which has been the catalyst of online advertising growth in recent year, increased 15.1% in the same period across the 25 markets measured. Video, mobile and social media all contributed to the powerful performance of display.
